STRUCTURE APPLICATIONS and ASSEMBLY DETAILS
Applications Possible with Light Steel Structure Machines
Light steel structures are preferred for their flexible usage areas, low-cost production, quick construction, and greater resistance to natural disasters such as earthquakes. The light steel construction system has various applications, ranging from modular buildings and tiny houses to single-story and multi-story constructions, as well as mass housing projects and village constructions.
VILLA – HOUSE STYLE STRUCTURES
In the Light Steel Structure industry, the most commonly produced building type is villa-style residential structures with 1-2-3 floors.
The reasons for choosing light steel constructions in residential production include the ability to build light steel structures quickly, production flexibility, significantly lower production costs compared to reinforced concrete, and greater resistance to natural disasters such as earthquakes.
MASS HOUSING / COMMERCIAL STRUCTURES
High-rise buildings like residential complexes, as well as large structures such as hospitals and schools, can also be constructed using light steel systems.
In buildings with four or more floors and in larger buildings than standard residential structures, using light steel allows for faster and more cost-effective construction.
MODULAR STRUCTURES
Modular buildings are large structures assembled like Lego pieces. They are produced in modules and transported to the construction site.
The manufactured modules are then joined together on-site to form the complete structure. This type of construction is typically used for residential complexes or commercial buildings to reduce construction time and simplify design.
RAPID STRUCTURES
One of the most common uses of light steel construction is for rapid building projects. Guard huts, public lavatories, worship areas, employee cabins, large huts for short-term field worker accommodations, and tiny houses can all be quickly produced. The production and assembly of these structures using light steel is very fast, and the final buildings are highly portable and easy to transport.
ROOF CONSTRUCTION
Apart from being able to construct buildings with light steel machines, you can also produce steel truss roofs. Simply enter the dimensions of the area where the roof will be placed into the building design program. You can then select one of the various roof suggestions provided by the program to automatically create the desired roof.
PORTAL FRAME STRUCTURES
Portal frame structures are completely commercial buildings produced with thick metal sheets and have wide purlin spacings. These types of structures are generally used for factories, warehouses, and other buildings that require large enclosed spaces. For constructing such buildings, machines from the IC-7000 Series are suitable.

Lip Notch
Lİp notch is applied to facilitate the assembly of profiles that will interlock during installation. The lips are automatically applied during production.
Swage
Swage – Section Reduction, is automatically applied to specific areas of the profile to facilitate easier assembly. During installation, this allows profiles to easily interlock. This punch ensures that the cladding or drywall sits completely flush against the frame and provides enhanced final durability at the intersections of the studs and plates.
Dimple
Flange Punching (both right and left sides of the profile) creates small holes in the center of the flanges. This system is used to correctly position the joined profiles and ensure that the heads of the countersunk bolts are flush with the profile wall. This allows the drywall to sit smoothly against the frame.
Service Hole
Service Holes are automatically applied to wall panels in areas specified during the design phase. These holes are created in the panels during design where cables or plumbing are required, and they are automatically implemented on the profiles during production. The cables or pipes to be used are run through these holes.
Truss End - Chamfer Cut
The produced profile can have this feature applied at either the beginning or the end. It is used to provide a better and easier connection at angular joints. During assembly, the part of the profile that touches the base is rounded, making angled installations like Roof Trusses much easier and more secure.
Web Notch
Base Notching is automatically applied to the profile to facilitate easy assembly during installation when profiles interlock with each other. This punch is applied to the base area of the profiles during production.
Mid Tab – Floor Joist
A die is essential for easy assembly of intermediate floor chassis profiles with each other. After applying the die to the sheet, it is bent to 90 degrees with a hand tool during assembly and secured with three screws. This ensures high strength and quick assembly.
Swaged Service Hole – Floor Joist
Recessed Service Hole is automatically applied to wall panels in areas specified during design. In places requiring cables or plumbing, service holes are created in the panels during design, and these holes are automatically applied to the profiles during production. The cables or pipes to be used are routed through these holes.
Flange Holes Floor Joist
The Flange Punch system creates small holes in the middle of the right and left sides of the profile. It is used to correctly position the joined profiles and ensure that the heads of the countersunk bolts are flush with the profile wall.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the most common issues customers experience after purchasing the product?
ICARUS2024-07-29T11:15:18+00:00Our machine is user-friendly, but an operator without sufficient experience or training may find it difficult to set up the machine properly. Therefore, the initial training we provide at our facility plays a crucial role in ensuring the longevity of the machine and error-free production for the buyer's operator. What is your company’s maximum commitment time for initiating the resolution of an issue?
ICARUS2024-07-29T11:15:58+00:00When you become a part of the UNBAK Family, a WhatsApp group is created as a priority to quickly manage our after-sales services. Issues such as production errors and operator questions are addressed within the first 5-15 minutes. In the second phase, we remotely connect to the machine and inspect it through the software, fixing any issues that can be corrected immediately. In the third phase, we conduct a video call via WhatsApp for problem identification and resolution. If a spare part replacement is deemed necessary during this phase, it will be shipped from our stock to your location, no matter where you are in the world. If the problem cannot be resolved in the third phase or requires faster intervention, a visit to your workplace is planned and carried out.In an emergency, our technician team will visit your factory to resolve the issue on-site.We prefer to train your operator at our facility before the delivery of your machine. Typically, we invite the customer’s operator to our facility just before the machine's delivery. Can a specific production sequence be programmed for home assemblies (walls, beams, and trusses)?
ICARUS2024-07-29T11:16:14+00:00The sequence of operations can be arranged through VertexBD, Revit-Strucsoft, and Framebuilder MDR programs. Is there software that stops the machine when each wall/beam/truss package is completed?
ICARUS2024-07-29T11:16:29+00:00Yes, there is. The machine will stop and give a warning 10 meters before the project cycle is completed.Does your company offer or know of third parties that can take our home design and production guidelines to create the frame machine file? This is likely a service we will consider.
ICARUS2024-07-29T11:16:38+00:00Our software partners are VertexBD, Revit-Strucsoft, and Framebuilder MDR. Training on design software is provided by us to a person designated by the machine owner. Why UNBAK
